Brides Night started in 1996 with a van, a stack of chair covers and a conviction that a rented hall did not have to look like a rented hall.
30years later that is still the whole idea. We have watched Ottawa’s wedding scene change completely. Trends arrive and leave, venues open and close, entire aesthetics come and go. What has not changed is the part of the job that actually matters: a couple hands us a room they are nervous about, and we hand it back looking like the day they had been picturing.
Zia has led every install since the beginning. If you call the number on this site, he answers it. If you meet us in the showroom, he is the one showing you linens. If something goes wrong at 4pm on a Saturday, he is the one on site fixing it. For a business built almost entirely on referrals, that continuity is not a marketing line, it is the product.
We describe ourselves as the next generation of special event decoration, lighting and floral design. What that means in practice is that we own our inventory rather than renting it on, and we design and install with one team. Three decades in, we have never needed a different pitch.

The consultation
We meet, in person or over video, and talk about your venue, your culture, your colours and the feeling you want when the doors open. Free, and no pressure.

Your design board
We build a custom design proposal with layouts, fabrics, florals and lighting, refined together until it is unmistakably yours.

The transformation
Our crew arrives early and quietly transforms the room. Drapery, florals, tables, chairs, lighting, down to the last perfectly tied sash.

You just celebrate
When the last dance ends, we are already there. Full teardown and removal, so you leave with the memories and not the mess.
