Built for the ceremony that matters to your family
Stage, Mandap & Nikah Design in Ottawa
For many of the families we work with, the stage is not decoration. It is where the marriage actually happens, in front of everyone who raised you. We have been building mandaps, nikah stages, mehndi settings and reception thrones in Ottawa since 1996, for every community in this city.
We work with all cultures, and we always have
It has been on our website since the beginning, and it is the reason a lot of families find us: we work with every culture, religion and ethnic group in this region. Hindu mandaps with four pillars and a fire-safe centre. Nikah stages with a low settee and calligraphy. Mehndi settings in marigold and mirror. Afghan and Persian receptions with carved gold thrones. Church halls, community centres, mosques, gurdwaras and hotel ballrooms.
You should not have to explain your own wedding to your decorator, or hope they know what a takht is. We already know. Tell us the ceremony and we will tell you what we have built for it.
Multi-day events, planned as one
Mehndi on Thursday, nikah on Friday, reception on Saturday, often in three different rooms, sometimes in three different buildings. Booking those separately means three quotes, three teams and three chances for the palette to drift.
We plan them together: shared inventory across the days, a coherent design that escalates toward the reception, and one crew who already knows the loading dock.

Questions
Stages, answered
Yes. Four-pillar and open-frame mandaps, draped and floral, built to your venue's ceiling height and with the clearances your priest needs. Send us the ritual requirements along with the guest count and we will design around them.
Yes, and it is usually more economical than booking them separately. We share inventory across the days and send the same crew, so the look carries through and you are not re-explaining your wedding to a new team on day two.
We do private-residence and backyard events regularly. The constraints are different (power, access, weather cover), so we will want to see the space or a video walkthrough before quoting.
Always. We use battery pillar candles where open flame is not permitted, free-standing rigging where nothing can be attached to the structure, and we deal with the venue's coordinator directly on load-in windows and fire-code clearances.
