We have been decorating weddings in this city for nearly thirty years. Ottawa is home, so we know its halls, its loading docks, its parking, and which rooms need a full ceiling drape to come alive.
Ottawa weddings span an enormous range of rooms: downtown hotel ballrooms with fixed chandeliers, east-end banquet halls that seat four hundred, west-end community centres with low ceilings and no rigging points, church halls, and museum spaces with rules about what can touch a wall. Each one needs a different approach, and most decor problems we get called to solve come from a design that ignored the room.
Because we are local and hold our own inventory here, we can get to a site visit within the week, load in early on a Saturday morning without a long haul, and come back at midnight to strike. There is no travel surcharge inside the city.
We also work around Ottawa's calendar. Peak Saturdays from June through September book out first, Canada Day and long weekends bring venue restrictions, and winter weddings need a load-in plan that accounts for snow-clearing at the dock. We plan for all of it in advance.

No. Ottawa is home base and there is no travel charge anywhere inside the city.
Six to twelve months for a Saturday between May and October, which is when this region's venues fill up. Winter and weekday dates are usually comfortable at three months. Ask regardless of timing. We deliberately hold inventory back for short-notice bookings, and we have put a full wedding together on a week's notice before.
After 30 years we have worked in most of them, and where we haven't we do a site visit before quoting. Tell us the venue name and we'll tell you straight away what we know about its ceiling height, rigging rules and load-in window.
Yes, on every quote. Our team delivers, installs, sets every table and returns at the end of the night to strike. Nobody in your family should be folding linens at 1am. Inside Ottawa there is no travel fee. For Valley and out-of-region venues we quote travel transparently up front.
Very happily. We work alongside planners, photographers, DJs and florists every weekend and we are used to being one part of a bigger team. If you already have a florist, send us their proposal and we will design the decor to sit with it rather than against it.
Yes, and this has been core to what we do since 1996. Hindu mandaps, nikah and mehndi settings, Sikh ceremonies, Afghan and Persian receptions, Lebanese and Ethiopian weddings, church and civil ceremonies. We have said from the very beginning that we work with all cultures and ethnicities, and we mean it literally. You should not have to explain your own traditions to your decorator.
